South Coast Vizsla Club Information
About SCVC. . .
The South Coast Vizsla Club was founded in 1976 and received AKC recognition in 1978. The founders were a small but devoted group and soon the Club began to grow in size. They held sanctioned events in field and show in order to receive AKC approval for licensed events in these areas. Much hard work was involved in these efforts and the Club of today owes a debt of appreciation to the founders. Jo Rafter, one of the founding members and first President of the Club is still a member and she has a wealth of information on the Club’s history and growth. Other members who joined the Club in the 1970’s include Jim & Chris Coman. Any member who is interested can contact these long-term members to hear stories of the “good old days”.Code of Ethics. . .
